Yoongi: 11 April Year 22

I walked a little behind Jungkook, only paying attention to the sound of his presence. There were many shipping containers along the railroad tracks. It was the fourth one back. Hoseok said he planned to meet with Namjoon and Taehyung, and he asked me to come too. I said okay, but I wasn’t actually planning on going. I loathe getting tangled up with other people, and Hoseok knows that too. He wasn’t telling me to come thinking I actually would. 

 

I saw Hoseok’s surprised expression when I swung open the door. After he discovered Jungkook, his exaggerated expressions showed various emotions flooding his mind as he approached us. I passed both of them and went more inside. Oh, how long has it been. I heard the bickering of Hoseok trying to hug an embarrassed Jungkook. 

 

In the midst of the noise, Namjoon came in bringing Taehyung. One side of Taehyung’s T-shirt was all ripped up. When asked, Namjoon told us what happened while pretending to hit Taehyung. He said they were a little late because Taehyung was in jail for graffiti and he had to go bail him out. Taehyung went on and on about how his T-shirt got torn up running away from the police while exaggerating how sorry he was. 

 

I sunk into the corner and sat down. Namjoon was giving Taehyung a T-shirt to change into, and Hoseok was taking out some hamburgers and drinks. Jungkook was awkwardly standing in the center of it all, seeming to not know what to do. Looking back, he was like that in high school too. Somewhere in the hideout classroom, Namjoon would be reasoning with Taehyung and then get teased, Hoseok would be moving around noisily, and Jungkook hovered around not really knowing his place.

 

Man, it’s really been awhile. I can’t even remember it that well. I wonder what Seokjin and Jimin are up to. Then I had a thought that wasn’t like me. This was my first time coming here, but it made me feel comfortable.
