Namjoon: 28 April Year 22

I had seen what was happening to Taehyung for a while now. He acted like nothing was wrong on the outside, but there were hints of anxiety in his momentary actions, expressions, and words that even I myself didn’t know what to do about or how to respond to. He was frequently in and out of the police station, and I saw the wounds on his back. Also, he had these nightmares. 

 

When asking what happened, I never press him to confess everything because I was always waiting to hear what Taehyung had to say for himself. Then again, I also doubt that I’m qualified to hear his troubles. I pretended to be an older brother and an adult, but in reality I’m never by a friend’s side when they are having a hard time. Everyone insists that I’m like an adult, but I’m just not. I couldn’t face reality head on and just hesitated. 

 

“Yoongi is dead.” Taehyung had a nightmare again today. I shook his shoulders until he woke up with a shock and just sat and stared for a while. I didn’t even think about wiping his mournful tears and muttered something incoherent. He said Yoongi was dead, Jungkook was in an accident, and I was caught up in a fight. He said the dreams were vivid and that they felt real while right now felt like a dream. “Please don’t leave.” Taehyung’s voice shook nervously.
