Taehyung: 29 December Year 10

I came inside the living room, taking off my shoes and putting my bag down. Dad was actually home. I didn’t think about how long he had been gone or where he went. I thoughtlessly ran into his arms. I don’t really remember what happened next. I don’t know if the smell of alcohol, the swearing, or my face getting hit came first. I couldn’t comprehend what was happening. I could smell alcohol, and a foul smell came out of his mouth when he breathed. His eyes were bloodshot and his facial hair was a disgusting length. He hit my face with his big hand. Looking at some unknown point in the room, he hit my face again. He lifted me into the air. His scarlet red eyes were scary, but I was so terrified that I couldn’t even cry. He wasn’t my dad. No, he was. But at the same time, he wasn’t. My two feet shook in the air. In the next moment, I slid to the floor after having my head smashed against the wall. I felt like my head was going to explode as my vision flickered then went dark. My thoughts filled with the huffing of my dad’s breath.
