Jimin: 15 May Year 22

When I opened my eyes, Hoseok was standing in front of me. A familiar ceiling and darkness were looking down at me. As I sat up surprised, I saw him put his index finger to his mouth. Everything was quiet, probably because everyone was asleep. Right then, Hoseok handed me a T-shirt. Then he used his chin to point outside of the hospital room. 

 

“Everyone came together.” He told me that Namjoon kept watch, and Yoongi distracted the nurses. Apparently, we were going to meet Taehyung and Jungkook at the elevator in just a moment. At first, I couldn’t understand what Hoseok was saying. He held his hand out to me as I sat there dazed. 

 

The day I left the hospital. I had dreamed about this day. I wanted to leave the hospital, meet my friends, smile together, and spend time talking with each other. But now, I wasn’t sure. Would leaving here actually be a good thing? My parents hid me away here like someone who didn’t exist. People whispered about me, saying I had a mental illness. It was possible that Hoseok thought of me that way too. Somewhere deep inside, he might think I’m really weird and feel uncomfortable being together with me.          

 

“Hurry. There’s no time.” I don’t know if it was because Hoseok was pressuring me, but the second hand on the clock sounded like it was moving faster than usual. Tick, tock. I heard footsteps that seemed unreal getting closer to the room. Hoseok and I both looked at the door at the same time, then back at each other. His hand was still in front of me.
